March 29 - Tea Class: Roast Your Own Houjicha

Bancha and Houjicha are humble yet deeply comforting teas, shaped by time, heat, and tradition. In this tea class, we’ll explore their processing and the transformative power of roasting.

Through guided tastings, we’ll compare roasted and unroasted teas, explore different ways of enjoying these teas, and experience hands-on roasting using a traditional houroku (焙烙).
